Hi Everyone! We are hoping this letter finds all you in good health and high spirits. We know how frustrating day to day life can be lately. Not knowing what different situations may turn up. Just remember the Lord is with all of us. Put your worries in his hands, he has the strength to carry us all through whatever issues we may face. Please remember to keep your family, friends, and neighbors in your prayers. If you know someone that is having a hard time, struggling thru these lonely hard times. Reaching out to someone to let them know you are thinking about them and showing them, someone took the time out of their busy day to think of them. Remember sometimes all it takes is a phone call or letter to warm someone’s heart and put a smile on their face and might even put a smile on your face. The need is greater now than ever to help your family, friends, and neighbors. Many people are saying there are Government programs out there! Yes, there are but a lot of the working people who have lost their jobs or have had their hours cut due to COVID-19 are falling thru the cracks. Please keep all these families in your thoughts and prayers. If you know of anyone, we could help please give them our number. (814)797-0286 We are doing financial applications by phone due to COVID-19, so please have them give us a call. “Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.” We would like to thank everyone for supporting Charitable Deeds through out the years. Without your financial support it would not be possible to help as many families as we do. There are also so many people that give so much of their time to keep things running so smoothly behind the scenes. We are so lucky to have such loving, caring people being a part of our Charitable Deeds family – may God bless you everyone! “Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, "I Will Try Again Tomorrow!" It is time to move on to the news of the day.
“EVERYBODY IN THIS LIFE HAS THEIR CHALLENGES AND DIFFICULTIES. THAT IS PART OF OUR MORTAL TEST. THE REASON FOR SOME OF THESE TRIALS CANNOT BE READILY UNDERSTOOD EXCEPT ON THE BASIS OF FAITH AND HOPE BECAUSE THERE IS OFTEN A LARGER PURPOSE WHICH WE DO NOT ALWAYS UNDERSTAND. PEACE COMES THROUGH HOPE.” Please remember to keep the people in your thoughts and prayers that are on the prayer chain. God hears all! That’s all for now… Remember you are all our still our favorite people, John R. Kerle Bobbi Wolfgong 814-221-9966 814-797-0286 Mailing address:

Hi all, We are praying this letter is reaching each one of you with good health. 2020 sure has been a rough year. There are so many families, more than ever, needing our help. There are so many families that have lost their jobs and their unemployment has run out. More and more families are calling in for food and financial aid, it is hard to keep up with the calls. So far, we have been able to help everyone that qualifies for aid. We are lucky to live in the community we do – when things get rough everyone pulls together to help their family, friends, neighbors or even foe. We started our 2020 winter utility program on November 15, 2020. If you would like to donate to this program to help keep family’s utilities on and keep these families warm this winter. You can send your donations to 98 Hickory Nut Lane, Knox Pa 16232. Please put in the memo winter utility program. We are going one day at a time and putting things in the Lord’s hands. So far, the Lord has reached out his hands and answered our prayers that we will be able to help each and everyone that was worthy of our help.

Be that one today. Hi everyone,
We are hoping everyone is safe and healthy. Please remember to wear your masks and wash your hands frequently. If we all work together, we can beat this invisible enemy. Please say an extra prayer for all the caregivers and essential workers. Please thank them for their services. “Heavenly Father heal the sick, comfort the sorrow, encourage and give us strength”
Please remember to keep the people on our prayer chain in your thoughts and prayers. Please do not forget to pray for the sick all over the world. “Thank you, Lord,” for you are always in control. We trust your eternal nature to be revealed in the body of the sick, to bring peace and healing. Help us in these times to rely on your power. We are hoping you all have had a great start to the 2020 year. It’s been a very busy start to the 2020 year here at Charitable Deeds. From the first family we helped in 2002 up to the present, there have been so many wonderful people who came through our Charitable Deeds doors. We believe God brings people together – he has a plan for all of us and only he knows what that might be. We are now in our 18th year of helping the poor and needy. We still have not turned away one worthy person that came to us for help. None of this would be possible without all of you great people that support Charitable Deeds all these years. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Teamwork is the key to living life in harmony, so that we can do God's will
There is no limit to the potential of brethren working together in complete brotherhood and selflessness toward spiritual goals. The power of God working through such channels will bring unimaginable blessings to all concerned. That’s all for now God bless you all! John Kerle & Bobbi Wolfgong Hi everyone,
We our hoping all of you have had a Merry Christmas and a Happy start to the New Year and got to spend time with your families and loved ones. We can’t believe its 2020, where did 2019 go? Time seems to be flying by fast and we are helping more and more of Gods children. We have never turned away one worthy person that needed our help. It is so sad to say but there are so many families out there without heat, electric, water or even somewhere to lay their heads. We had 2 veterans we helped that were living out of their vehicles. At this time of the year, it is too cold to live out of a vehicle. We worked with other agency’s in the area and now these veterans have a warm, safe place to live. We are sad knowing what these veterans sacrificed for us to live in the country we do. THANK YOU TO ALL THE VETERANS out there that protect us to make our country the land of the FREE, God bless all of you!
We would like to thank all the volunteers that help with the food distribution. If any one would like to help with distributing the food, they can come to the Charitable Deeds building @260 High Point Road, Knox Pa 16232 on the dates listed above or if you would like to make a monetary donation to help with the cost of the food you can send to the above address and put in memo “food pantry”. If you or someone you know that lives in Clarion or Forest county’s needs help with food, please call 814-797-0286 and we can register for food.
We would also like to thank Bonnie Slaughenhaupt, Ruby Mays, and Shirley Heath for their time helping the families financially each Monday. Without our Charitable Deeds family, we would never be able to help the number of families we do. And without all you wonderful individuals that donate financially all we do would not be possible. We believe that the Good Lord has sent these people to us for help. We can help families only one time in 12 months. Some of the stories we get from some of these families are so sad- it makes us feel so good to help them. Some are too proud to except help. For example: We helped a single mother with a young daughter where the husband left. The mother works, but with all her bills she was not able to give her daughter anything for Christmas. We went through and picked out 4 to 5 gifts for her daughter from the Christmas presents that were collected by ABATE. We were also able to give her $200.00, to help with her bills. We do not know who she is, this name was given to us anonymously and a friend took the presents to them. These are the families we really like to help because they are so grateful. I wish each and everyone of you could see the joy this brings to help someone. When you help someone, it is the best feeling you could have. Don’t get me wrong it is not always cookies and cream … but when that time comes that we help and they are crying and hugging us, thanking us for the help … it makes it all worth it. We are proud to be a part of Charitable Deeds and everyone that has helped to make Charitable Deeds what it is today. Let’s all stop a minute and pray for those on our prayer chain and even the ones that aren’t on it. LORD, please touch these people and help them with whatever they may be dealing. In your name we pray, amen. Pray to the Good Lord each night and put your problems in his hands and he will guide you in the right direction. That’s all for now – we hope you all had a Happy holiday season and have a wonderful 2020 year. God bless you all! John Kerle & Bobbi Wolfgong |
