Hi everyone,
Well here we are in the month of April. Well you know they say, April showers bring May flowers. Well if that is the case, we should have lots of flowers this year. I guess we should be happy… it is not snow. We had a super winter utility campaign. We took care of all the people that come to us this winter - “THANKS” to all you wonderful people. Because of the warm weather, the utility companies are shutting off utilities left and right. Most of the other charities are out of money, we are still getting a huge amount of requests for help.
Now let’s pause for a moment, and pray for those on our pray chain. If you know of anyone that needs added, or taken off our prayer list, please call Bobbi.
That’s all for now, Just remember you are still our favorite people
God Bless you all – Keep smiling

- In the month of March we made an impact on the lives of 275 people financially. Also in the month of March we made an impact on the lives of 242 people who needed help with clothing, furniture, and appliances, etc. In addition, each month Charitable Deeds and three area churches hand out free food to 160 families.
- During March & April we are having a campaign for the Veterans of the Armed Forces. With the proceeds from the spaghetti dinner on March 21, we raised $13,537.00. We would like to thank Thrivent Financial [our sponsor] and all the wonderful organizations and individuals that helped support this fundraiser. Since the spaghetti dinner we have received an additional $3000.00 in the mail. Starting Monday April 13th and thru the month of April, we will be selling tickets at the Cranberry & Clarion Malls. These tickets are on 2004 Lincoln Town Car. All the proceeds of the sale of these ticket in the month of April will go to the Veterans campaign. Anyone wishing to sell, or purchase these tickets, please give John a call. They are $10.00 each or 3 for $20.00. We will keep you informed in the next newsletter of what we collected for this fundraiser.
- The next ‘All you can eat” Spaghetti dinner will be held on May 16th from 3:30 -7 p.m. at the Wolf’s Den. Anyone wishing to help, or bake a cake or two, can contact Bobbi.
