Hi everyone,
“When Charitable Deeds was started in 2002, we just thought it would be helping one family in the community. Once we helped this family, more and more families began contacting Charitable Deeds. Charitable Deeds has grown into this huge, amazing organization. Not only because of the families that we have helped since it began, but because is our organization like a family. It could not be done without every single person involved. Each one of the volunteers bring different talents to the organization. We wish we could share, with all of you, the heartfelt thank you’s that Charitable Deeds receives. Just remember these heartfelt thank you’s are all because of the wonderful people that donate their time, talent, and financial aid.”
We would like to thank all you Charitable Deeds members, churches, businesses, and the public for all the donations that you send to Charitable Deeds. With your donations, there are so many families receiving financial aid, so they can have a warm, happy holiday, God bless you all.
During this Thanksgiving, Christmas holidays, don’t forget the least fortunate.
That’s all for now, just remember you are still our favorite people!
God bless you all and Keep Smiling,
John Kerle (814)221-9966 & Bobbi Wolfgong (814)221-8987

- Wow, what an amazing spaghetti dinner we held on November 15. We raised $9,100.00 – that is a great accomplishment for this community to come together to help the less fortunate in the area. The next “ALL YOU CAN EAT” Spaghetti dinner will be held on January 24, 2015 from 3:30 -7:00 p.m. at the Wolf’s Den. Anyone wishing to help, or bake a cake or two, can contact Bobbi at 814- 221-8987. We are always looking for someone to help with clean up. So if you are interested in helping with cleanup, you can just show up at 6:00 p.m. to help. Please don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 2015 spaghetti dinner year. They are as follows January 24th, March 21st, May 16th, July 11th, September 19th, and November 14th.
- The next food give-away will be December 18th. This food give-away is located at 260 High Point Rd, Knox Pa 16232 at 11:00 a.m. at the Charitable Deeds building. This food give-away is sponsored by Charitable Deeds and 3 area churches.
- Let’s all pause for a moment, and pray for those on our prayer chain. If you know of anyone that needs added, or taken off our prayer list, please call Bobbi.
- Don’t forget that we will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, starting on November 26th at the Clarion Mall, and ringing up till the day before Christmas. Again this year, the Clarion Mall is letting us ring the bell inside. So if you are interested in ringing the bell for 1, 2, or more hours, please contact John or Bobbi.
- Charitable Deeds will be handing out Christmas gifts donated by Clarion County Abate Motor Cycle Club, from December 1st through December 24th. Children up to age 14 are welcome, but must have a paper referral slip from one of the churches in Clarion County, or Clarion County Abate Motor Cycle Club. If you get a referral slip, please call Charitable Deeds, and we can set up a time for you to pick up your gifts. Any church that wants to refer a family, please put on a slip the name of the church, along with contact person, and phone #. Have the individual you are referring call us at 814-797-0286 or 814-221-9966 and we will set up a time for them to come in. They must have the referral, on the date of their appointment. No referral no appointment.
- Well, we have set the date for the garage sale, it will be Thursday, December 11th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th. We have some items set up, and have been selling some items, but we are still looking for more items. If you happen to have anything you are wanting to donate, you can contact John or just drop it off at 260 High Point Road, Knox Pa 16232 on Monday & Tuesday between 9:00 AM and noon.
- Sometime after January 1st, we are going to have a fundraiser to help our veterans. We will leave you know later, on the dates we will be starting this event.
During this Thanksgiving, Christmas holidays, don’t forget the least fortunate.
