Hi everyone,
Well here we are jumping head first into “2015”.
The cold weather has set in with a vengeance. There are still families going without utilities. It is so hard to believe that the world we live into today, with being one of the richest countries in the world, that there are still families suffering.
We would like to thank all you Charitable Deeds members, churches, businesses, and the public for all the donations, that you send to Charitable Deeds, God bless you all.
That’s all for now-Just remember you are still our favorite people
God bless you all-Keep Smiling

The Good Lord sure blesses Charitable Deeds,

- Charitable Deeds rang the bell again this year for the Salvation Army. We raised $8,340.00 for our local Salvation Army. This whole amount stays in Clarion County. We want to thank all the bell ringers that gave their time from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
- Our area is blessed with so many generous people. Our last garage sale raised $2,567.00. Thanks to all the volunteers, that made this event possible, and thanks to all the people who donated items for this event.
- Sometime in February or March we are going to have a campaign to raise money to help our veterans. If there is anyone in Clarion, Venango, or Forest counties that would like to sell raffle tickets, please contact John or Bobbi. The money raised will be added to the campaign for the veterans. The tickets are printed up, and waiting for anyone wishing to purchase them or sell them. 100 percent being sold will go to help the veteran’s campaign. The tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. The winner will win $1,000.00, and will be drawn at the end of March. The $1,000.00 prize was donated by a family from Charitable Deeds.
- We received 719 Christmas gifts from Clarion County A.B.A.T.E Motorcycle Club. We handed these presents out at the Clarion Mall. After we handed out these 719 gifts, we received 203 gifts from Clarion Hospital, and 281 gifts were donated to Charitable Deeds from anonymous donors. That gave us an total of 1203 gifts to pass out. If you could of seen the smiles on the parent’s faces, when they came to get the gifts, knowing they were going to be able to have something to give their children on Christmas morning. You would have thought it was a million dollar smile. Thank you to all who were involved in making so many children’s Christmas a happy one.
- Let’s all pause for a moment, and pray for those on our prayer chain. If you know of anyone that needs added, or taken off our prayer list, please call Bobbi.
