Hi everyone! We think warmer weather is finally here for awhile. We are hoping everyone is getting their gardens in, and getting out to enjoy this beautiful weather we have been having. Now to get started, we want to thank all you members, churches, businesses, and the public, because without all you wonderful people, Charitable Deeds could not do all that we do.
As we said in our last news letter, more and more families are calling us for help. We are starting to get a waiting list due to the warmer weather, the utility company’s are able to shut off people’s utilities. They are now shutting them off right and left!! Even though its warmer out and we don’t need to worry about the heating so much, there are still a lot of families that are without electric and water. A lot of the helping organizations are still without funding. So this means that Charitable Deeds is taking a lot of the burden. So please keep praying that Charitable Deeds is able to keep helping with this overwhelming need for help.
We held our Charitable Deeds garage sale on June 5th, 6th, and 7th, we raised $1900.00. We will be having another garage sale in the fall. The information will be given at a later date. All the proceeds from the sale go to help the poor and needy in the Clarion, Venango, and Forest areas. We are always looking for furniture, stoves, refrigs, washers, and dryers, ect. If you have any of these items that you would like to donate, you can contact John at 814-221-9966. Don’t forget that this is tax deductible.
That is all for now – Just remember you are still our favorite people!
God Bless you all – keep smiling!
