We want to start this letter by thanking all you members, churches, businesses, and the public for all the donations you send Charitable Deeds.
- We now have a Charitable Deeds recycling center under way, and people are starting to drop their cans off at the Charitable Deeds recycling center at 14 Boyd’s run road, Knox Pa 16232, and at the Charitable Deeds building at 260 High Point Road, Knox Pa 16232. If we could get all the Charitable Deeds members to save their cans, we could make a big thing of this.
- We want to Thank Robert Ecklebarger for the help he gave to get the aluminum recycling center going. We want to thank Seneca Lawn & Landscape for helping with the barrels to collect the aluminum cans. We also want to thank Thrivent financial, one of our sponsors for donating $1,000.00 towards our last dinner. We also want to thank Dasco Plumbing from Shippenville, Mechanical Contractors from Erie for their generous donation of $1,000.00 to help the poor and needy. We want to thank Tractor Supply (Cranberry & Clarion) for teaming up with us to help the poor and needy. There are so many people out there that are behind the scenes that donate their time and money. We want to thank all of you for all you do to help your community.
- Our garage sale was held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 21st, 22nd, 23rd... We raised $2113.00. Thanks to all the people who come out to support this sale, and also the volunteers that helped to make it possible, as well as those who donated the items for the sale.
